Key Factors for Successful Councils
A moderator who facilitates an honest and open exchange, and an increased bond between members. And, members committed to actively participating in the group and the process. Peer Advisory Councils at Synch-O LLC are led by executive coach and principal, Marc Sinkow, who steers the topics to keep the discussions relevant.
“Marc is an outstanding facilitator. He is vibrant and always extremely passionate about achieving the council’s goals and objectives. He pushes us all to dig deep to solve everyday issues and concerns of our fellow board members businesses. Grab him if you can; he’s EXCELLENT!”
Types of Peer Councils
In the first type, members work in different industries, but in the same geographic location. In the second type, members work in the same industry, but in different locations, to avoid competing. In both types, members share business issues, best practices, and hold one another accountable for taking action. The number of members ranges from five to 20, but the norm is 12.
